Eight generations of the family SABY successed on the local wine of the Libournais where sit the famous vines of POMEROL, SAINT-EMILION and FRONSAC. It’s at the XVIIIe century that Jean SABY started this dynasty of great winemakers. A family property, the Château ROZIER is set up closed to Saint-Emilion, in Saint-Laurent-des-Combes.

Today, Jean-Bernard SABY, as a worthy successor, has revalorised the several family properties located in the Saint-Emilionnais and the Fronsadais.

The 9th generation, Jean-Christophe and Jean-Philippe, both oenologists, respectively graduated of the Bordeaux’s Faculty of Oenology and of the Montpellier’s National Superior School of Agronomie, bring their new competences while respecting the tradition and the knowledge of their grandfather.

Beautiful brilliant purple colour. Expressive nose, the aromas are complex, on red fruits. The tannins are silky, the wine is well-balanced. The structure is dense and velvety until the final, concentrate and persistant. It’s a typical wine, without any artifice and very harmonious.

«With a beautiful color, here is a fleshed wine with a sweet bouquet. It’s a delit of sensibility ! It’s better with a good stew, delicatessen and every cheeses.»
