Château Les Hauts de Pez is the second label of Château Tour de Pez which has a past that stretches a long way back in time ; thanks to a meticulous study of archives, this past has been reconstructed.

The name of the hamlet Pez originaites from the seigniory that belonged to the Pontac and Fumel families in the 16th century. As regards the estate, the name of “l’Heyretere” comes from the legal interpretation at the time of the French word “héritage” (heritage) which meant a particular type of lease granted by the lords of a domain.
