Created at the beginning of the 1890’s by Gustave Eiffel, the architect of the famous Eiffeil Tower, this vineyard is one of the most beautiful properties in the Bordeaux Supérieur region.

Gustave Eiffel has designed this winery covering a total size of 12,000 square feet (1,100 square meters). The vatroom is composed of stainless steel tanks and state of the art equipments including a new thermo-regulation system.

Château Lafite Monteil owes its name to the Lafite vineyard which dates from 1812. The exceptional quality of its soils gives this wine its unique character.
