A few kilometres away from Saint Emilion is located Château Fongaban whose origins date from the 17th century.

The terroir is typical of the two great “Puisseguin Saint Emilion” and “Côtes de Castillon” Appelations d’Origine Contrôlées, both situated in the commune of Puisseguin where are implanted 40 hectares of grape varieties (Merlot and Cabernet Franc), on a clayey and chalky soil totally adapted to vine culture.
